We guarantee confidentiality.

At A Closer Look, we are committed to protecting your privacy. A Closer Look will consider your flooring inspection to be confidential to you only. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to other companies. We use the information we collect about you to process inspections and to provide a more personalized experience.

It may be helpful for you to know how we use the information we collect:

When you order, we request your name, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your order and to notify you of your order status.
If you hire us to do an inspection of a floor, and you do not own it, we will proceed to protect your privacy. Upon arriving at the place the floor is installed, the following letter will be handed to any persons who may be observing the inspection.
For the Consumer

THE INDEPENDENT INSPECTION PROCESS

Your inspector is a Senior Certified Inspector, for all types of floors. He is not a representative of

any manufacturer, or dealer. He is here to give an unbiased evaluation of any floor condition. Any questions asked are not to trick you in any way, but are made to enable the inspector to obtain better knowledge about your particular problem, with the product.

The inspector is here to inspect your floor, and report any complaints you may have. The inspector will complete a certified inspection report, which along with any photographs and /or samples obtained, will be submitted to the commissioning company for it’s evaluation.

It is not up to the inspector to make ANY comments, or decisions as to what the problem is, or what is to be done to correct the problem. The decision is to be made by the commissioning party-not the inspector.

The commissioning company is the only party to whom the inspector can release his report.

Please do not ask the inspector of his findings, as it is not his place to discuss the findings with you. Inquires regarding inspection results must be obtained from your dealer, or the party that you contacted to turn in your complaint.

There is no need to worry about disagreements with the process, because virtually all reports result in agreement. If, however after your hearing the conclusion, you do not agree with it, please request a list of inspectors that you can hire, to give a 2nd evaluation.

 Sincerely,

Dale T. Collins (A Closer Look Flooring Inspections)
